This consists of contracting a dedicated virtual number for an account. The virtual number is used to send and receive SMS messages in a specific country.
Depending on the country, it is possible to contract a long number (longcode) with fixed or mobile format or a short number (shortcode with a normally much higher cost but with more functionalities such as masks and direct routes with local operators).
It is possible to consult more information and in which countries the Virtual Numbers service is available on our website or in the section Services and credits by country of the account.
Once the service has been contracted, it will be possible to consult the messages in WebSMS in the Message History and in the SMS Received section. Additionally, messages can be received by configuring a reception URL in the API Settings.
